Cast Urethane Bars
Urethane: Made For Your Most Demanding Applications
Used in a number of demanding manufacturing applications, conveyor scrappers, wastewater scrappers, machine squeegees and cutting sticks for the paper industry, polyurethane bars offer the chemical resistance and abrasion resistance that other materials cannot.
PSI can customize your bars width, length, thickness, durometer, and formulation to meet the design requirements and specifications of your project.

In many applications, urethane bars are preferred to natural rubber bars, as they do not degrade when exposed to most chemicals, water, constant compression deflection and abrasive environments.

Benefits of Urethane Bars And Rectangles
Urethane is renowned for its vibration-damping, shock absorbance, and abrasion resistance. It also does not take a permanent set when compressed. Urethane offers the following advantages to conventional elastomers:
- Oil and solvent resistant
- High rebound ability
- Low compression set
- Excellent hydrolytic stability
- Protection against marring and galling
- Ability to be formulated for specific applications
Once installed, urethane bar and rectangle material help manufacturers reduce equipment downtime and cycle time limitations.
Urethane Bar And Rectangle Applications
Urethane bars are often utilized in applications where abrasion, vibration, and impingement are daily demands. Due to its unique strength, durability, and vibration damping qualities, urethane is the ideal material for a variety of applications. Industries such as wastewater, food Industry, paper and conveyor machinery, benefit from the unbeatable properties that thermoset polyurethane provides.
